PROTECTION OF TURTLE EGGS

Turtle egg trade and poaching is one of the main factors that are threatening the survival of the sea turtle population in Kudat. To combat these threats we empowered the local community to be trained as Honorary Wildlife Wardens and Honorary Park Rangers so that they can. With this kind of program, we hope to encourage more people, predominantly the locals, to protect the turtle and its egg.

Come and join the sea turtle protection program!!
